Photo of The Fram

Built in Germany in 2007, the Fram is a purpose built luxury expedition vessel with a focus on elegance.

Fully stabilized with an ice-strengthened hull and state of the art navigation system, the Fram is more than capable of dealing with the world’s toughest oceans.

The Fram is named after the original Fram which was used by the famous Norwegian adventurer Fridtjof Nansen. The vessel can carry just over 250 passengers and the ship is decked out with stunning modern artworks and items from the original Fram ship.

The fusion between old and new gives the spacious ship an excellent feel to it and the modern interior is inspired by the Greenland and Arctic regions.

Major facilities aboard the MS Fram include bistro and restaurant, panoramic lounge, several Jacuzzi’s, gym, a lecture theater and excellent deck space. The Fram is lovely Antarctica ship that combines modern furnishings and state of the art equipment.
