Ocean Endeavour: Ship Details and Overview

Photo of Ocean Endeavour

Built in 1982 under the name Konstantin Simonov, the ship has held a number of names over the years and has been refitted on several occasions before being christened as Ocean Endeavour in 2014.

These days, Ocean Endeavour is one of the most well-appointed and advanced expedition ships in Antarctica. The ship comes with an ice-strengthened hull, advanced navigation system, a number of zodiacs and excellent deck space.

The ships interior is well-furnished, light and modern with excellent viewing areas. There is a nautical lounge, several restaurants, sun deck and library aboard the Ocean Endeavour. The ship has a strong focus on health and well-being and you can take advantage of an on board juice bar, yoga classes, massage therapy, new sauna, pool, gym and health cafe.

You will also find a boutique gift shop where you can pick up anything you may have forgotten before your trip, or a souvenir or two.
