Built in 1991 in Italy, the Sea Spirit underwent a complete refurbishment in 2010.
With a fully ice-strengthened hull, an experienced crew, a set of retractable fin stabilizers for smoother sailing and a with a fleet of 10 zodiacs, the Sea Spirit is the perfect vessel for Antarctica cruises and wildlife watching.
The ships interior is well-furnished, elegant, light and spacious with excellent deck space for viewing. Facilities aboard the Sea Spirit include a lounge, restaurant, sun deck,hot tub, outdoor bistro for good weather and Polar library.
The Sea Spirit can accommodate 114 passengers and each cabin is outward facing so you never miss a thing. The captain operates an open-bridge policy that allows you to stand up high with the captain to get the best views possible.

The Sea Spirit is a very well-equipped expedition ship and boast a set of high class facilities.
The ships public facilities include a hot tub, Polar library (fiction and non-fiction books), lounge, restaurant and outdoor bistro, sun deck with lounges and chairs, good sized gym, bar and grand piano, lecture theater and medical clinic.
