The luxury MS Midnatsol takes its name from the Norwegian summer meaning ‘Midnight Sun’. The ship is one of the more modern in Antarctic waters and the interior is beautifully bright and colorful with many pieces of modern art dotted throughout the ship.

One of the highlights of the ship is the two story panoramic lounge that lets in huge amounts of light and allows passengers to never miss a single sight! Another highlight of the Midnatsol is its large deck area with jacuzzi.

The Midnatsol is classed as an 1X ship and is designed for Polar cruising. The ship has advanced navigation technology and has only recently begun trip in Antarctica and Patagonia. The ship was designed with families in ind and the Young Explorers Program on board is always a popular addition for young people on board. There is a state of the art lecture room and the cabins are all bright and spacious.

The Midnatsol is a luxury ship that has a lovely bright feel to it. The tow story panoramic lounge is a favorite among passengers and you can relax in a big chair and take in the amazing landscapes before you.

There are several well stocked bars on board where you can grab a nice cocktail and relax on deck. There are several restaurants on board, including a separate a la carte dining section. There a play room for children and a fitness centre for the active passengers. If you’re after relaxation then take advantage of the on board sauna, Jacuzzi and boutique.

The Midnatsol also boasts a big state of the art lecture theater, several cafes, a science centre and a well stocked library. The ship is the ideal choice who want a relaxing and comfortable cruise in a modern setting.

Cabin Facilities

Like the public areas, the cabins are bright and comfortable with good space. 

All cabins are en suite with shower, whilst some of the larger rooms come with baths. 

Some of the more luxurious rooms also come with a private balcony.

Rooms are all equipped with T.V, couch, hairdryer, en suite and bedding.
