Island Sky: Ship Details and Overview

Built in Italy in 1992, the Island Sky recently underwent a complete refurbishment. The small vessel is incredibly sea worthy and offers passengers a elegant and intimate space that has character and charm.

Carrying just over 100 passengers, the Island Sky is one of the most recent additions to the Antarctica cruise calendar. Mainly offered on the express itineraries, the ship is the perfect size to navigate the smaller bays and inlets along the peninsula. With a small fleet of zodiacs, you’ll never miss a photo opportunity aboard the Island Sky.

There is excellent deck space for wildlife viewing and the public areas are well equipped with a nice library, large lounge, dining room and elegant bar complete with grand piano. All cabins are light and spacious and come with private en suites and outward facing windows or portholes.
